The region of the Ardennes is characterised by a hilly landscape and large leafy forests.

Its main hilly areas are interspersed with picturesque valleys, the most stunning of which are those of the Blees, Clerve, Our, Sûre and Wiltz rivers.

National trails

Luxembourg has a network of footpaths covering the whole country and linking the major tourist centres. There are 25 national trails, marked by a yellow symbol on blue background, ranging from 13 to 84 km. They are ideal for a long hike in several legs over several days, and can be combined.
